Director of Sales for North America

Specific duties and responsibilities include

  • Define and implement go-to-market plan for Shoreline’s AIoT SaaS Platform for North America

  • Build sales pipeline with multiple directs accounts and channel partners

  • Develop manufacturer’s representative and distributor networks that serve the predictive maintenance, predictive analytics and operations management solutions marketplace. The network must serve the five verticals that comprise the primary markets for Shoreline IoT’s predictive analytics solutions. 

  • Identify, engage, negotiate with & manage manufacturers representative, distributors and direct accounts.

  • Collaborate with members of the Shoreline IoT team to ensure an exceptional client experience across all client interactions from needs assessment through delivery and follow up.

  • Work towards sales and revenue goals as established in partnership with the Shoreline IoT president and executive leadership team.

 

Essential Skills/Attributes of the Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated, professional work experience in developing and managing direct accounts in the targeted industries with relationships at all levels including, operations, plant, reliability & maintenance managers. Direct relationships with VPs, CEO, CIO, CFO and other executives and decision makers would be beneficial.

  • Must have professional work experience in developing and managing manufacturer’s representative and stocking distributor networks, that provide solutions-based systems, sales in professional services, sales to functional and team leaders, business development in professional services, and client relationship management.

  • USA Nationwide experience is a must. 

  • Must have experience selling and promoting process optimization solutions or automation products to manufacturing industries/plants and Oil & Gas sector.

  • Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to build and grow connections with people of all types and backgrounds. 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Independent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable and confident using technology as an integral part of cloud-based solutions systems.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at once.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate uncertainty.

  • Interest in working as part of a startup and growing company, with awareness about the opportunities and challenges that come with a highly adaptive environment.
